Free Will

The assertion that God has given humanity "Free Will" is the least Biblical argument that anyone could ever make. The reason people hold so tightly to "Free Will" is because that is the only argument that can place all blame on humans, and absolve God of all evil and injustice. The Bible NEVER teaches that God has given men "Free Will." On the contrary, the Bible consistently teaches that God is sovereign and that God always does whatever he wants, and there is no one or nothing that can overpower or change God's plans. The Bible never defines "Free Will", so we need to define it here. The word "will" means desire or intention. Of course everyone has a will, but do we have a "free" will? When you modify the "will" with the word "free", the result is that our desires or intentions are uninhibited or uninfluenced by any other person or force, including God.

The whole purpose for discussing "Free Will" is to blame humans for all evil and to absolve God of evil. Therefore, whenever a man kidnaps and abuses a child, the man is 100% responsible for that evil, while God had absolutely nothing to do with that man's decision or inclination to conduct his evil acts. Unfortunately for the believer, if God gave man "Free Will," that would also be the reason why God could not intervene to protect the child. If God prevented the man from kidnapping the child, then God would have to override the will of the man, and exert his own will over than man's will. Believers are apparently completely unaware that the Bible consistently teaches that God is sovereign over the will of man. Though you can find many Bible verses that suggest humans can make a choice, you cannot find a single verse in the Bible that says human choices are independent of outside influences from God or Satan. I want to list Bible verses now that prove my point, while trying to withhold my commentary. You should be able to see how each verse opposes "Free Will."
